How Inkira booking works

The customer path and the business path — one workflow, two perspectives.

How does Inkira booking work?

A customer completes a guided checkout. The business receives a booking that updates calendar, CRM, payment and follow-up. That is the product. Not a widget that only stores a time slot.

Customer

  1. Service — choose what they want.
  2. Location — if the business has more than one.
  3. Appointment — pick an available date and time.
  4. Personal information — who is booking.
  5. Add-ons — optional extras when the service allows them.
  6. Review — confirm what was selected.
  7. Deposit / payment — pay through supported checkout when required.
  8. Confirmation — the appointment is booked.

Business

  1. Booking received — the request is in the system, not in a voicemail.
  2. Calendar updated — the slot is no longer offered as open.
  3. Customer record updated — history lands in the CRM.
  4. Payment recorded — deposit or charge is attached to the booking.
  5. Reminders generated — follow-up is not a manual afterthought.
  6. Appointment managed — staff run the day from the dashboard.

Why the two paths matter

If appointments currently live in messages, the customer booking path is the first change. If names currently live in a notebook, the dashboard and CRM path is the first change. Both are the same Inkira system.
